Missing keyboard for moto g (!st gen) „08-19-2015 04:30 am for some reason, my moto g (1st gen) has buried my keyboard and i find it impossible to type anymore.. My keyboard now just stops working seemingly randomly. this has been happening since the afternoon of either thursday 11/15 or friday 11/16. it does not matter what keyboard app i'm using.. Help! my keyboard will not come up when i select a spot to type like a search bar or a text message. my phone is an lg optimus 7 and i use the lg keyboard. when it stopped working i went to language & input and switched it to the other it came with, swype. then i just got a pop up saying swype is no longer working..
Intermittently, when i attempt to i input text into a text box, my keyboard does not type the letters/numbers when they are pressed. my cursor does not move. what's strange is that my autocorrect bar above the keyboard does recognize the letters typed, but again, no letters appear in the text box.. Keyboard is not displaying the correct symbol. e.g. shift2 displays inverted commas and not the symbol at when i want to type the symbol - at-. or - inverted commas. so, if you are in the uk but have a us keyboard you must tell windows that you have a us keyboard not a uk keyboard.. Use your motorola bluetooth
