Google is looking for Self Driving Vehicle Operator Operations 20 hr

Google is paying $20 an hour for drivers, or "self-driving vehicle operators," to cruise around Phoenix, Arizona and its suburbs testing out its self-driving cars.

Its the job that you never you knew you wanted: Driving a car that doesnt need to be driven for six to eight hours a day.

"(Test drivers) give our engineers feedback about how our cars are driving and interacting with others on the road, and can take control of the vehicle if needed," said Brian Torcellini, head of operations for Googles Self-Driving Car test program.

Its not just taking a nap while the "car drives you," according to the job description. Youll need to maintain a "constant focus," while providing ongoing feedback to Googles engineering team. The companys also looking for someone with a clean driving record who can type at least 40 words per minute.

Develop a unique set of operational skills using vehicles running proprietary software and hardware. Operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment, sometimes managing up to four communication channels simultaneously via various high- and low-tech mediums. Work on cutting-edge technology and provide engineers with detailed, accurate feedback.

In addition, youll be in the car with a partner, so if youre thinking you can just goof off in a car for eight hours, youre probably not going to like the job as much as you think. On the other hand, Cheech had to meet Chong somewhere, so maybe you and your partner can figure something out?

"The role of test driver is so new that there isn’t a particular type of person that we look for," Torcellini told the Arizona Republic, almost certainly not considering the type of person that was just described. "We’ve hired people from all types of backgrounds, from English teachers to orbital welders. In general, they need to be excellent drivers who pay really close attention to the road and can predict the social aspects of driving. Local drivers will be great for testing in the Phoenix area because they know the roads and local driving norms better."

The expansion of the program already in place in Mountain View, California; Austin, Texas; and Kirkland, Washington in an effort to see how the vehicles perform in Arizonas desert conditions and incredible summer heat, according to Mashable.

Must pass a number of training checkpoints, both in and out of the car. Expected to keep all project details confidential. Clean driving history required. You can apply for the job right here.

Summary of Primary Duties:
  •     Drive 6-8 hours a day, five days a week.
  •     Working individually and in small groups of 2-10 people.
  •     Monitor software systems with constant focus.
  •     Provide concise written and oral feedback to the engineering team.
  •     Complete daily reports and document procedures and tests.
  •     Be open to travel (up to a month at a time).
  •     Raise the bar of excellence for the rest of the team!

Requirements
  •     BS/BA degree.
  •     Excellent verbal communication skills.
  •     Excellent written communication skills. Must be able to type at least 40wpm.
  •     Clean driving history and no criminal history

Enjoy being in a car with someone day after day..

Apples Strategy is Better than Google

Mixpanel provides an update for iOS 9 adoption compared to the other operating system inside iOS environment. The independent analyst firm said that the latest OS, the iOS 9 has reached almost 75 percent from the total iOS users.
techfrag.com
How about Android?

Currently, only 23 percent of Android users are running on Lolipop. The last one, Marshmallow, even lower than that.

Both of the OS have vulnerabilities, of course. But, if critical bug happened on iOS, Apple will just release an OS update. But if critical bug happened on the latest Android OS, Google can only fixed on Nexus lineup, or Android One devices.

How about for other brands?
Theres not much that Google can do. Its all depends on many things, from consumers, operators, to device manufacturers.

In this case, I had to admit. Apple was right.

Apple is reportedly working on truly wireless earbuds for the iPhone 7

Purely wireless earbuds are eventually becoming a reality coming as from the looks of things, it would not be taking long before tech’s biggest company unveils its own pair. The report is loud that Apple is working on a premium set of entirely wireless earbuds — under the Beats brand — with solid hope that the earbuds could debut alongside the iPhone 7 later this 2016.
Expecting wonders from the iPhone7
Expecting wonders from the iPhone7
Said to be included in the Apple’s earbuds is “a noise-cancelling microphone system” which will give users the opportunity to interact with the iPhone and control Siri completely and also wirelessly too. From the sources we gathered the information from, Apple’s current concept shares resemblance with what we’ve seen (which did well to impress) from Bragi at CES this week. And they are recharged in the circumstance of being placed inside a carrying case, close to the Motorola Hint.
It is agreeably understood that these premium headphones will be not be a present or mandatory acquisition as it will be an optional purchase as it will not be coming bundled with the iPhone 7; rather, an improved pair of EarPods are baking in Apple’s oven to be included in the box. Most likely those will plug into the Lightning port, because off course, Apple really is (probably) disposing of the services of the headphone jack. Buckets of rumors have all outlined the prospects of Bluetooth headphones as well as others sourcing operational power from Apple’s Lightning jack.
Also there is the possibility that Apple will introduce the iPhone 7 this September , probably months after a mid-cycle push-in of the smaller-sized “iPhone 6C” which according to rumors is priming for release this March.
However, Apple’s said to be looking at several designs for the new flagship, with a particular clue that “substantially” looks like the iPhone 6 / 6S.
