1. Copy the CM 12.1 zip, gapps zip and Supersu zip in your SD Card
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Please take an entire backup of your current rom through the CWM menu. So that you can restore it back if you fail to install the cm 12.1 custom rom.
4. Enter recovery mode
5. Make full wipe including “system”
6. Flash the rom and then the update
7. Flash the gapps.
8. Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2 minutes)

How To Root Install CWM Recovery On Lenovo A6000 Plus

We had talked about how to Root and Install Custom Rom/Stock Rom On lenovo A536,This Time I Am Sharing With You To Root And Install Cwm Recovery On Lenovo A6000 Or A6000 Plus. Lenovo A6000 Plus Has Good Configuration Smartphone. This Device Comes With 2 GB RAM And 16 GB Internal Memory That Is Good. Internal Specification And Sufficient Battery Life. Lenovo A6000 Plus Based On Android KitKat 4.4.4 And Lenovo’s Custom UI. We Have Found Out How To Root Lenovo A6000 Plus Without PC.
If You Have Purchased This Smartphone And Looking For A Way ToRoot The Device, So That You Can Install Custom ROM Firmware’s Of Your Choice, Or Upgrade The Android Version In The Device To Android Lollipop, Or Remove The Unwanted Pre-Installed Apps In Your Device, Then You Are In The Right Place.   • Installation Via Unknown Sources Should Be Enabled On Your Device. To Enable It Go To Settings > Security > Tick Unknown Sources.

Downloads:

  1. Download | Rooting
  2. Download | Minimal ADB And Fastboot
  3. Download | Recovery.Img

Method To Install CWM Recovery On Lenovo A6000/Plus:

  • Connect Lenovo A6000/Plus To The Computer Using The Original USB Data Cable.
  • Now Go To The Folder Where The Minimal ADB And Fastboot Program Is Installed (C:Program Files (X86)Minimal ADB And Fastboot).
  • Hold Shift And Right-Click On An Empty Space And Select “Open Command Window Here” Option. A Command Window Will Open Up.
  • Now, Enter The Following Command To Check Whether Your Device Is Recognized By The Computer:
ADB DEVICES
If You See A Device ID, Then Your Device Is Connected Successfully.
  • Now, Enter The Following Command To Boot Into Your Device Bootloader:
ADB REBOOT BOOTLOADER
  • Once You See Your Device Boot Into The Fastboot Mode, Enter The Following Command To Flash The CWM Recovery (Recovery.Img):
FASTBOOT FLASH RECOVERY RECOVERY.IMG
  • Once The Recovery Image Is Flashed, Enter The Following Command To Reboot:
FASTBOOT REBOOT
That’s It. Now You Have Successfully Finished Flashing CWM Recovery In Lenovo A6000. Once Your Device Reboots, Switch It Off And Press The Volume Down And Power Button Simultaneously To Boot Into The CWM Recovery Mode. Now, Let’s Find Out How To Root Lenovo A6000 Smartphone.

Time To Root Lenovo A6000/Plus:

  • Transfer The Rooting Kit To Your Lenovo A6000/Plus SD Card. After Successfully Transferring The File, Disconnect Your Smartphone From The Computer.
  • Now, Switch Off Your Lenovo A6000/Plus And Press The Volume Down And Power Button Simultaneously To Boot Into The CWM Recovery Mode.
  • Once You Are In The CWM Recovery Mode, Select “Install Zip From SD Card” And Choose The Rooting Kit (Root-SuperSU-V2.37.Zip). This Will Start The Flashing Process.
  • Now You Have Successfully Rooted Lenovo A6000/Plus Android Device. To Confirm The Rooting Process, Go To Your Apps Menu And Look For SuperSU App. If It Is Located There.

•Your phone should be rooted and haveClockworkMod recovery installed from before.

•This tutorial will wipe out all your data.Proceed at your own risk.Perform a Dalvik Cache wipe before proceeding from the recovery mode.

•Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.

÷ How to Install Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow BeanStalk 6.03 ROM on Lenovo A6000 Plus.

Step 1 – Download Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow BeanStalk 6.03 ROM and Google Apps for your Lenovo A6000 Plus to your computer.

Step 2 – Connect and mount your Lenovo A6000 Plus USB memory on your computer using the USB cable.

Step 3 – Now copy/paste the downloaded Android 6.0.1 ROM zip file and Google Appszip files to your SD card. Make sure the files are in the SD card root (not in any folder).

Step 4 – Then turn OFF your phone and disconnect from the USB cable.

Step 5 – Now to get in the Recovery Mode. Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together

Step 6 – Once you are in ClockworkModRecovery, select perform a full data wipe by selecting “wipe data/factory reset”. Use the Power button to select everything while in the Recovery Mode.

Step 7 – Then, perform a cache wipe by selecting “wipe cache partition” .

Step 8 – Now this is optional, but it is recommended to perform a wipe of your dalvik cache as well. You will not get into boot loops or any other errors. From CWM recovery, go to ‘advanced’ and then select “wipe dalvik cache”.

Step 9 – Then go back to the main recovery screen and select “install zip from SD card”.

Step 10 – Now select “choose zip from sdcard”. Using your volume keys, navigate to the Android 6.0.1 ROM zip file that you copied to your SD card and select it using the Power button. Confirm the installation on the next screen and the installation procedure should start now.

Google Apps: Repeat the above step for the Gapps zip file as well and install it on your phone.

Step 11 – After the installation completes, go to “+++++Go Back+++++” and reboot the phone by selecting “reboot system now” from the recovery menu.



Your Lenovo A6000 Plus will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait.

That’s it Your Lenovo A6000 Plus should now have Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow BeanStalk 6.03 ROM  installed on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.

Downgrade or Unbrick Lenovo A6000 To Kitkat 4 4 4






This guide will let you flash 4.4.4 Kitkat Firmware To Your Bricked Mobile

Or Flash This Firmware if you are not happy with Lollipop Version.

Tested 100% On My Lenovo A6000


It will be Flashed in Download Mode (see above steps). 

This process takes less than 10 minutes.


Note : battery should be charged at least 50%



1) Download Firmware:

 A6000_S035_150507_8G_ROW-berbagikoleksi.rar (1.1 GB)

You should install Usb Drivers From This Rar File > Tools > Usbdriver > LenovoA6000_USB_driver.exe

2) Download Flash Program:

 QPST_2.7.422.7z (25MB)


All Rest Files Like Usb Drivers Are In First Download File.

Preparatory stage.
1. Extracts using 7-Zip or Winrar and install drivers for chips Qualcomm and QPST.2.7.422.msi

2. Decompress A6000_S035_150507_8G_ROW.7z using 7-Zip  to the root of any drive.

3. Check whether to install the necessary drivers. (see first step)
Open the Device Manager on your PC, then turn off the device (smartphone or tablet) and take out the USB-cable from the device (if it was connected).

Put Your Mobile in Download Mode By Volume Up + Power , After Logo Shown Leave Power  > Menu will appear , Press Download 

PC – in the Device Manager > Ports >  device should appear Qualcomm Lenovo HS-USB QDLoader 9008

Just install the firmware!
1. Run the utility QFIL (Start> All Programs> QPST> QFIL).

2. In the window QFIL fill in the following fields:
In the Programmer patch specify the path to the file prog_emmc_firehose_89XX.mbn (in my case prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn), for this click on Knop «Browse», in the window that opens, specify the path to the folder with the firmware (in my case ROW_S121), then select the file prog_emmc_firehose_89XX. mbn and click “Open.”
Then click on the digging «Load XML …», in the window that opens, select one by one – first rawprogram0.xml and click “Open” and then patch0.xml and also click “Open.”

3. Make sure that the program QFIL sees the device as Qualcomm Lenovo HS-USB QDLoader 9008.

4. Click on the button «Download» and wait for the end of the process.
The device should restart the process of filling in the successful firmware and boot into Android OS.
